Yoga Nidra workshop with Larry Novick

September 6th ~ 2:30 - 4 PM

Yoga Nidra is a simple, yet powerful technique by which you learn to relax consciously, with inner awareness.  Yoga Nidra literally translates as Yogic Sleep, although one does not sleep during the practice.  It is an experiential practice, utilizing several methods to induce true physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.

At its simplest, Yoga Nidra can be used as a relaxation method to counter the demands of a stressful lifestyle.  At its more profound levels, it can be a tool used to train the mind, balance the emotions, increase mental clarity, improve sleep, and bring increased awareness into each moment of life.  Ultimately, through Yoga Nidra practice, there can be transformational shifts in one’s nature.

Yoga Nidra is accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners, and all are invited to attend this class.  We will discuss basic concepts of Yoga Nidra, review various methods used in the practice, and then practice Yoga Nidra.  Please bring a yoga mat, blankets, and anything else that allows you to lie comfortably on the floor.

This workshop is $25, and will fill up quickly. Reserve your spot now, email or call or drop by the studio. No refunds after September 3rd.
